Daniel Schneider, CPP, is a seasoned security consultant, trainer, and international best-selling author whose journey reflects resilience, service, and a lifelong commitment to protecting people. Born and raised in Israel, Daniel joined the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) at 18, where he learned vigilance, discipline, and the responsibility that comes with safeguarding lives. After completing his service, he traveled the world, an experience that broadened his perspective and deepened his appreciation for people, culture, and community.
Seeking a career rooted in service, Daniel moved to the United States and studied Hotel & Restaurant Management at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. His hospitality career began in five-diamond hotels, including the Short Hills Hilton (NJ), the Rihga Royal Hotel (NYC), and the Helmsley Park Lane (NYC). He later launched Pinnacle Concierge, honing his ability to anticipate client needs, deliver excellence, and build trust—values that remain central to his security philosophy.
Daniel’s path transitioned into corporate security, starting as a guard and progressing into leadership roles in Loss Prevention and Investigations with MetroPCS and T-Mobile. There, he oversaw investigations, risk mitigation, and employee safety programs, training hundreds of employees while blending operational security with his service-first mindset.
Over the past 15+ years, Daniel has become a trusted authority in workplace violence prevention, crisis management, threat assessment, active shooter preparedness, and the Blended Guarding Model—an approach integrating people and technology to enhance resilience. As the Founder of Strategic Security Advisors (SSA) and Empower Training Academy (ETA), he partners with houses of worship, schools, businesses, and security providers to shift organizations away from reactive measures and toward proactive strategies targeting the 80% of the attack cycle that occurs before violence.
Daniel holds the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) credential from ASIS International, serves as Chair of the Houses of Worship Committee for the ASIS Phoenix Chapter, and is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP). His international best-selling book has reached audiences in 11 countries, reinforcing his mission to educate and inspire security professionals worldwide.
